And a bit more info on yesterday's news... Lee reports that the CBS drama is basically the story of two powerful rival families - sort of like "Dynasty," but with better writing. *g* Jimmy Smits, Rita Moreno and Hector Elizando play members of the Duque family, while Ken Howard plays the patriarch of the rival family, the Samuels. Lee will play Ken Howard's son, and Polly Walker of "Rome" will play his sister.

Lee will be heading back to L.A. next week to work on the pilot episode. He tells me that he thinks the show has the stuff it needs to get picked up by the network, so keep your fingers and toes crossed.

In other news, we may be providing some video clips from the set, recorded by Lee himself, if things go according to plan. More info on that later. We're also doing an "Ask Lee" session this Sunday, so more answers should be forthcoming next week, along with the roll-out of a whole new layout for the site. Expect more information on all these things over the next week or so. :)

Lee tells me he is currently working on the pilot for a new drama for CBS, starring Jimmy Smits and Rita Moreno. The show, which was previously being called "Los Duques" but now appears to be untitled, centers around a Latin American family in Florida. More information to come on his role in that, possibly later today.

Also, it appears that if Tom Fontana's new show, M.O.N.Y., has a future, Lee may have a future on it. He says that TF may include a role for him if the show is picked up. That's all up in the air, nothing is set in stone at this point.

More to come!

The pilot for AMPED is complete and they're now waiting to hear if the show will be picked up. He expects to hear something before Christmas, hopefully. We will pass along this news as soon as we know one way or the other.

Look for "Masters of Horror" on Showtime in January, as well as the DVD release of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning." Still not sure yet when "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" will be airing, but I'm looking into that.

Lee is currently looking forward to "taking the rest of the year off!"
